Final Grading of the Property ... Plus the Moon !!!
We figured living in the country required an investment in a good telescope.
Here's a shot of the moon almost full last month.
Here's another moon shot last month. We saw Saturn for the first time last night. Quite the sight, but we couldn't get a good picture.
Anyway, Marvel Brothers (Buzz & Dave) showed up yesterday to begin the final grading of the property.
For April it was a beautiful day, with an all time high temperature of 90 degrees.
It was slow going at first, since the property hasn't been touched in nearly four months.
But, in what seemed like no time at all, it started to take shape.
It's now day two, and more heavy equipment has arrived ... the front end loader ... not Dave ;-)
If you are wondering where all of the rocks went, they built a large "rock pit" out back.

Straw then goes down over the seed and fertilizer.
They're finished with the straw base out front.

Then an even bigger piece of machinery, the Hydroseeder, is brought in.

Our landscaper is expected to be here in a few weeks to complete the remainder of the trees and gardens. One more update left !!!
