Basement Plumbing Rough In

Before the cement floor in the basement can be poured, the plumbers must rough in all of the pipes that will actually go under the concrete.

They've been "at it" for almost two days. Again, the "going is slow" because of the rocks in the soil. They're using a pick and shovel to excavate around every run of PVC pipe.

The steel support beams have arrived, along with the vertical support columns. The columns look really short to me, but I'll let Bob deal with that.

Heavy thunderstorms are predicted for later this evening. Then it's supposed to rain on and off for the next two days. The floor is supposed to be poured on Friday. Something tells me that's not going to happen.
