Merry Christmas and Happy New Year !!!

The Old Trenton Mill

After the storm, it was just beautiful outside. So Debi and I decided to take a walk thru town.

Trenton is an Old Mill Town that dates back to the 1800s. Lately, many of the homes and outbuildings have been renovated.

This is a shot of the original Mill. It is no longer in use, but the current owner has still managed to save much of the original structure's working parts (like the water turbine that generated the power).

Front Door of the Mill

The front door of the Mill ... all dressed up for the holidays.

The Original Mill Owners House

This is the original Mill Owners house. It has been renovated many times since, but much of the original structure remains.

Stream

The stream that provided the "power" for the Mill ... and what caused the town to be created in the first place.

Workers Apartments

As was customary "in the day", the workers at the Mill were provided housing in the town. We're hoping this building will someday be renovated as well.

Trenton Road

This is Trenton Road ... our main drag ... looking down toward the Old Mill.

The following shots are of properties that line Trenton Road.

This is the historic Trenton Church. It's only about three doors down from our house.

The bells chime every day at noon and 6:00 PM.

The Manger

This is a small building just west of the Old Mill. A manger maybe? Who knows ...
